Job description

Data analysis and modelling of neuronal spiking and LFP interactions based on high density recordings from primates
Lab support for the neurophysiology experiments
Data curation
Teaching support (4 SWS) for the BSc Biomedical Sciences and MSc Integrative Neuroscience courses with focus on nervous systems, neurophysiology and cell physiology.

Master’s degree or equivalent in neuroscience, medicine or other natural science
Very strong academic record
Significant experience with computational analysis and modelling of high-density neurophysiological data (Neuropixels) using Python and/or Matlab is essential
Willingness to deliver excellent teaching at a university level is essential; experience would be an advantage
Experience with in vivo neurophysiology, especially in primates, would be an advantage
Focus and motivation to make a significant contribution to developing an ambitious research programme as part of an interdisciplinary, international research team
