ABOUT THE POSITION
- Fully funded 4-year postdoctoral position in cognitive and computational neuroscience at MPI-CBS, Leipzig
- Interdisciplinary and international environment with access to world-class facilities
- Collaboration with Prof. Patric Meyer and Dr. Andrej Bicanski on perirhinal cortex functions
TÄTIGKEITEN / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and conduct experiments investigating cross-domain functions of the perirhinal cortex
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (e.g., computational modelling, high-resolution fMRI)
- Contribute to data analysis and interpretation of neuroimaging results
- Support training and development of junior researchers as part of the DoellerLab
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONEN
- PhD in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, biology, computer science, physics, or a related field
- Strong interest in medial temporal lobe function, especially perirhinal cortex
- Experience with multivariate fMRI analysis (MVPA, RSA, pattern classification)
- Interest in or experience with computational modelling
- Strong programming skills
- Excellent academic track record
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with 7 Tesla fMRI or high-resolution neuroimaging is a plus
